The Starlight Children’s Foundation do some of the most important charity work: bringing happiness to children who really need it. 

We’ve teamed up with Starlight to help shine some much needed light into the lives of children around the country with the Starlight Scramble!

This fundraising scramble event aims to raise enough funds to provide a wish for a child in every State in Australia. X-Golf is donating 50% of the proceeds to Starlight, so all you need to do is enter the Scramble and you’ll be contributing directly to funding this incredible foundation and supporting their mission to bring joy to lives of children who have been deprived of it. How It Works: 

 

1) We’ve cut the normal cost of a 2 hour booking for 4 people in half for those that want to join the Starlight Scramble! ($140 —>$70).

 

2) That allows you to donate the other half of the normal booking fee ($70) directly to the Starlight Children’s Foundation! 

 

3) By donating half of the normal booking fee to Starlight you can enter the Starlight Scramble Tournament! 

 

4) By entering and playing you’re in with a chance to win a $1000 event AND you’re helping out children in need!

The Starlight Scramble is an event of skill played on the X-Green software platform at
participating X-Golf venues. The event is designed to enable all players that complete a valid
entry to contribute to the raising of funds for the Starlight Foundation and goal to “raise a
wish” in each state / region.
Entry to the Starlight scramble is conditional to the below elements being completed at
participating venues. Participants in the event / competition and fundraising elements must
adhere to the below to be deemed eligible for prizes and event awards.


Event Schedule


Players may enter at participating venues between the scheduled dates of September 1st to
October 12th 2024. Venue opening hours apply and normal booking processes are
recommended. Please visit www.xgolf.com.au for more information and to book.


Online Approved Entry


Players must complete the appropriate online booking timeframe (min 2 hours for 3-4
people) and nominate “Starlight Scramble” in the booking notes or clearly communicate with
venue staff upon arrival.
An approved entry occurs when a group of four have paid for the $70.0 fee for simulator hire
(2 hour special rate) and have completed the min $70.0 donation for their team via the
Starlight fundraising page QR link (available in store).
Simulator hire must be confirmed paid at POS and tournament entry / donation receipt /
confirmation email viewed and verified with the venue operator prior to tee off in a registered tournament event.


Entry Fees


X-Green Official Tournament entry fees will be waived in exchange for the Starlight
Fundraising donation. In the case of the Starlight Scramble, the QR Link will be supplied by
the charity provider on promotional material in store.
Entry fees for tournaments played on the platform may vary from competition to competition
and may be required to be paid via app or online portal in future. Customer confirmation /
verification of entry is always required before tournament tee off.


Prizes


The top 3 teams according to score on the leaderboard upon the completion of the event will
be notified as winners of the Starlight Scramble and eligible for the promoted prizes.
Prizes (per team) include:


1st Place Team – X-Golf or Hey Caddy event package valued at $1000.0


2nd Place Team – CUB Drinks pack valued at $400


3rd Place Team – X-Golf Cap for each player
Manager Sign Off / Approval

Is required prior to the start of an event round and will require all entry and registration
details to be completed in full. All player data must be captured either in profile log in, or via
QR code scan and entry information.


Handicap Pre Requisites


Starlight Scramble is a non handicapped event, and the team will be posting a stroke /
scratch score only in their attempt to win prizes / awards for play.


Minimum Simulator Hire Requirements


Due to the need for 9 holes to be completed by each team to allow for a registered and valid
score, a minimum simulator hire period of 2 hours per team competing on the simulator shall
be required prior to entry being confirmed. Please refer to event terms and conditions for
recommended minimum hire terms.
Venue staff will recommend the required timeframes to complete the event round and take
no responsibility for a team or player not being able to complete a round in required time due
to bad or slow play. – Min required time for this event is 2 Hours for the 4 player team to
complete 9 holes.
These minimums may vary depending on event types and formats and will be communicated
prior to entry and registration of the event.


Completion of Rounds / Events


Players will have been deemed to have completed their tournament round when all players
have completed the final hole of the event and played under the event rules and within
nominated simulator hire booking timeframes
Venue staff must be made aware of the completion of a round to confirm scores and event /
round details for players to be considered for points, results, and prizes.
Team name, venue, and scores should be added to the staff leaderboard link for addition to
the below for leaderboard update and visibility.

Players or team members not completing their round within nominated timeframes or not
completing the round or the tournament in full may be disqualified from the event and will be
ineligible for results, prizes, and points.

Substitution of changing of players


Scramble, Pairs, and teams events require the same players that started the event to
complete the event in full. A scramble team may lose a player or multiple players throughout
the event and be at a disadvantage, but cannot substitute in another player at any stage of
the event.
Players being removed or omitted from remainder of the event may be possible if approved
by venue staff or management. No other player may substitute or play shots / compete in
place of removed players.
Any disadvantage that the team or players incur due to less players is not the responsibility
of X-Golf or venue

Simulator Hardware or Software Failure / Delays

Due to the nature of indoor golf technology and the mechanics involved, X-Golf venues and
staff cannot guarantee simulator performance at all times. Should a simulator need
maintenance, repair, or software support during a booking and tournament round, players
may be eligible to request an extension to their booked simulator hire and event timeframes.
Venue management and staff will be required to approve any extension in play conditions
and we suggest that any significant delay be logged and a request for entry fee credit for
future events be applied for.

• Players will be limited to 4 per simulator
• Extra hand santising stations around the venue including at entry and on all simulators.
• Social distancing markers around the venue to help you navigate the 1.5m physical distancing rule
• We will be conducting a temperature check on entry to ensure no one has a fever
• All simulators will be cleaned and sanitised between each booking, including all computer stations and hire sets
• Frequent cleaning of high traffic areas including door handles and bathrooms.
